We're very fortunate to have a very dedicated group of alumni who stay engaged with their academic programs and the faculty that support those programs. They stay involved with our alumni association. And that engagement includes speaking to the classes, being financially supportive, helping our students by being mentors or even hiring our students into full time employment The environment at ULM is set up so that graduates can thrive once they leave and enter the workplace. And so I think ULM graduates, I can't speak to all of them. I know all of them are successful in different ways. We have so many programs that are globally recognized, but in particular, the School of Visual Performing Arts prepared me to be able to move into the workplace and show a different way of doing, of thinking and of completing projects, of creating projects and ideas and being able to offer that to whomever my employer might be at the time. ULM has been so instrumental in my current career. I work for the city of Monroe in Parks and Rec. And I graduated from here in sports management and I have been able to stay in touch with my professors. They have given me advice even while in the field and I've also been able to connect with them as far as internships for the city of Monroe, and creating programs for the youth in the community. We are a family at ULM. And when students get here, it's our responsibility to help them grow, to help them mature and when they graduate, they're still part of the family. We want them to stay connected, to be an important part of our family going forward.
