    Residential Halls

Imagine this. You wake up on campus in a comfy room you've decorated to fit your personality and style.

Your first class is just a few minutes' walk and when it is dismissed, you meet up with friends for lunch at the Schulze Dining Hall and then study at the Library.

To wrap up your day, you take a kayak out on the Bayou to soak up the sunset before heading back to your room.

Whether you want to live in an apartment, suite, or traditional-style residential hall, there's a place for you to call home on ULM's campus: ulm.edu/reslife.

We have several residential halls on campus. You can have a private room. There are dorms that have like two people living in the same open space. And then we also have the suites where you have a private room that you share a bathroom with another person. And then we have the apartments on campus. There's some one bedroom apartments, some two, and then four bedroom apartments. But it's really nice living on campus, which is easy to stay involved. Get involved with activities, because if you're done late at night, your home's right there, you can go to sleep. The housing is all paid at one time at the beginning of the semester. And then throughout the semester. You don't have to pay any additional bills. You have access to all different resources, such as computer labs, study rooms that are provided by our dorms. We also have laundry rooms. You can meet so many different people just by living there, and it really helped to catapult me into the environment of the university. Our buildings are very affordable. So it is a lot cheaper than living off campus and it's closer to get to class. I met some of my best friends here, living on campus. It's nice to be able to just tell your friends like come over we'll go to my room or go to a study lounge or meet up and go to the cafeteria together. And it's nice to just be close to all your friends while you're living on campus.
