ULM has an international student office. I was directly able to talk to the office and they also have international student as a, you know, a student worker and they will directly let us know like, what are the documents we need and what is the process. How long is it going to take. Since I've been here, ULM has been very welcoming and exceptionally friendly. The friends I have made here, not just students, but the administration, like everybody is so friendly. The Office of International Education, they, they are working hard to put on events like International Week on campus to build a connection with the students. Last event I attended is the Moon Festival, hosted by International Office, and I was there and share my cultural background and childhood experience with students. And then we find a connection. You know, sometimes students say, oh, that's what happened, you know, when I was back home, and they don't feel homesick anymore, since there's a connection out there. So the International House is where you can play games, you can organize events all throughout the week. The facility they have there is amazing. There's a big kitchen, we can cook our own food if you want to. And then there's a gaming center. There's a ping pong table. There's a lot of study rooms in front of our International House. We have flags from different countries. When I was first here, I definitely saw my country's flag right in front of the building and it was like, amazing and it feels amazing. And then that way, you know, we know that this place is very welcoming and then it felt like a home.
