School spirit to me is about believing in the vision of the university, believing in the people involved in the university. And I've felt that I found that as a student and it's still continues for me as faculty. There are many intramurals offered here. In the fall, there's always kickball, soccer, flag football and volleyball. And then in the spring, there's basketball, softball, I played many with my sorority, and then many co-ed teams. It's just really fun to get out there with all of your other peers and colleagues and just kind of have like some friendly competition and get some extra hours while you're doing it. One of my favorite things about our campus is that we host three different really cool weeks on campus. So we have Week of Welcome, Spring Fever Week, and Homecoming Week. During those weeks, students get the opportunity to hang out with each other, meet new people, make new friends, connections. Not only do we have free food every day during those weeks, there's also tons of activities for students to participate in. So we have hot air balloons. We've even done henna tattoos during these weeks. It's just a way for students to kind of relax, unwind from their classes while having a good time and embracing the school spirit and what it really means to be a Warhawk.
