The best part about having a campus this size is you get to see so many familiar faces. There's not a person that you don't really know. I can walk to class and I can run into several of my friends walking across the bridge. You always know somebody. It's kind of like your family. We're very close here and that's what I love about the size of this place. My favorite thing about campus is just how pretty it is. Honestly, you can just walk around on the fall day and just see the leaves changing and it feels really nice outside and the water fountain and seeing everybody interacting with each other. It's also the perfect cycling campus, I'd say. I love riding my bike and being able to step out of my room and breathe clean air, ride my bike and have a really nice time and then later on in the day, studying, take notes right by the bayou in the grass. It's really something to look forward to day by day. The ULM Safe app is an app that you can download on Android and iPhone and it just allows you to feel the safety while you're walking by yourself. I know several of my friends have used it and I use it to check up on them as well. The ULM PD is available 24/7 no matter where you're at, where you're going. So if you ever need them, you can call them at any time of the night or day.
